Yes I realise this needs touch-ups..ok a heck of alot of them but its 1:30 AM in the morning and frankly i'm tired LOL. This was a weeks progress...dont have much time to work on art in one sitting anymore.
This is my depiction of The Saint Nyrium....for those of you whom know this character, I humbly apologise for not incorporating the wings..believe me..i tried and tried and swore and cursed and tried some more to no avail...so I'm starting anouther portrait of The Saint and His Serpah..with wings, full viel and more poppies of course.

What gorgeous shades and blended colors. There is such gorgeous texture in the yellow grass, brown bark and fold of cloth and feather. I love how the bottom of the piece has nice dark shadow and then light almost like morning rays, but above there is the rainy stormy colors in the background.
